What Our Customers Say
Posted on Jasmine CahalaneTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. She was amazing and so knowledgeable. She didn't try to upsell me on anything and talked through tips and tricks to make my system work. She helped me troubleshoot my system and made sure everything was working well.Posted on Monteiro CarpentryTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The worst experience with the owner at the company's address. I was introduced to Mr. Bill to do some work at this address. He showed me the work to be done and gave me the price. We agreed! After the work was completed, Mr. Bill refused to pay the agreed amount, claiming the work was completed in less time than he anticipated. Besides being very rude with his attitude and offensive words, he chose the price he wanted to pay. This is unfair and dishonest. If we agreed on the price beforehand, it doesn't matter if it was done in one or two days. We did it with complete dedication and care. The work was perfect and of good quality. We are experienced and invest in equipment that increases the quality of the work and reduces execution time, but for Mr. Bill, it makes no difference.Posted on Jen BrennanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I first contacted Dog Watch North Shore last summer to inquire about their system. I had an existing system with another company that was not working properly and customer service was non existent. I knew from that first call with Dale that their company was different. She was so kind and patient with me as we worked out our options. We were able to trade in our existing system with theirs and i could not be happier. Dale answers the phone and returns emails same day (even same hour!) Sam was so easy to work with on site. I feel so confident and comfortable knowing that if i have a problem they will respond quickly. Excellent communication and service. So easy to work with.Posted on Tyler SheaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. You Asked, We Answered
The SideWalker is used to train dogs to walk on a leash without pulling and to reinforce appropriate leash walking behavior.
A sensor under the collar strap on the SideWalker is triggered by pressure when the dog pulls on the leash (or when you pull the leash to direct the dog into the desired position.) When the sensor is activated, the dog receives either a vibration or a stimulation. The SideWalker should be set to a level that is just enough to distract the dog from the pulling behavior. Most dogs learn quickly that the sensation stops when the pulling stops.
Several variables affect how quickly your dog’s behavior will change, most notably the personality of your dog and the environment in which you are training the dog. Most dogs begin to understand the relationship between pulling and the vibration/stimulation after several activations of the collar. The pulling behavior diminishes quickly in some dogs and more gradually in others. If there is no noticeable change in pulling behavior after a reasonable trial period, check the collar to make sure the fit is good and the contact posts are the correct size. If collar fit is appropriate and the dog continues to pull, the SideWalker setting should be increased one level.
The SideWalker is safe and effective on dogs as small as 6 pounds.
We recommend waiting until the dog is 4-6 months old.
The components in the SideWalker are specified to operate from minus 25 degrees (F) to 125 degrees (F). A significant and rapid change in temperature may temporarily disrupt some of the SideWalker functions until the device adjusts to the new temperature level.
